What a success and fabulous day for all at Buckfast Abbey Garden Fayre on Saturday 1st June, the first fair for us this year.
With over 5000 visitors and 130 stalls this was a large fair for us as a relatively new micro nursery business. All our hard work in preparation paid off and it was hugely successful in support of promoting Brugmansia as a special aunamental pot specimen and support to our collection and growth as a whole.
With huge delight the first sale went to no other than Toby Buckland who purchased a Brugmansia Grand Marnier. A real showcase centre piece with showy large white\crean flowers which are incredibly scented.
We will be purchasing more varieties as a result of the success to make available to all who support us and add to our growing collection.
Next stop, a National collection and Hampton Court? Watch this space.
For this month there are two plant fairs left:
Sunday 16th June Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens Specialist Plant Finders Fair
Sunday 30th June - Rare Plant Fair, Sculpture by the lakes, Dorchester.
We hope to see you there 😊
